The waters are rising fast. Please be cautious when traveling the lake road as spillways will be overflowing. Boats and other objects have been seen floating away, as well as a variety of other objects. Please be aware of your boats, docks & and any items on the shoreline that can float away.



Keep in mind that anything that is tied to a fixed post will not rise with the waters. And boats inside docks that do not float, will be trapped against dock roofs.

The lake patrol and other residents are proactively trying to secure property - towing loose boats, running bilges on neighbor's boats they can spot and access, and more. The back gate is now open so if you need to access property and cannot cross the dam, try the back gate only if you have a HIGH vehicle as the creeks are flooded in the back also.
