The annual Lake Hiwassee Chili Cook-off is coming up on October 24th. Things will start rockin’ at 6 pm.

We are raising funds with this get-together for several projects that will benefit all lakers. Along with a bunch of hot & hearty CHILI ENTRIES for judging, we need DONATIONS for purchasing the food & drink. You can make your checks out to Lake Hiwassee and get them to Betsy Telowicz at 102 E Shore Dr.

We plan to have free hot dogs & chips for the kids. For the adults, we will provide chili with chips, and sodas will be available.

You NEED a set or two of our great new CHILI BOWLS with the Lake Hiwassee logo. They are way-cool!

We will call each person on the homeowner’s list to ask for chili entries and donations.

There will be some AWESOME items for the AUCTION this year. You’re gonna want to bid on them! So bring lots of money! If you would like to volunteer some time and muscle to help set up, decorate, or tear down, we could really use your help. Call Linda Foster 396-2610 and sign up to help.

It's gonna be brisk in October, so bundle up & head over to the Pavilion. You can keep warm with some lip-smacking good chili to keep up your strength and burn up the dance floor to music from our live band.
